About the Author

If you asked him, Fred Ephraim would tell you that he is the reincarnate of an old African Griot—and honored storyteller— a modern day Griot who specializes in telling tales of families, and their individual members triumphs over adversity, those created from their own internal disharmonies, as well as those imposed upon them from outside of their family unit. All kinds of families: Blended, extended, and contrived. Fred believes that everything starts and ends with the family, and his own personal experiences have helped him better understand and solidify that impression.

Fred is steadily and productively on the road of expressing his family bent sentiments through multiple stories—through one or more books per season—as Kelsey’s Quest illustrates—quickly followed by, Percy’s Plunder and now with Birds of a Feather, will prove him to be a master story teller.
